Wireframe & Flows
One of the challenges was the intricate design process. Given the B2B nature of the app, it necessitated the creation of two distinct panels and interfaces, essentially requiring the development of two interfaces within a single application. These challenges pushed the boundaries of project management and design, requiring innovative solutions and strategic planning.
In the following user flow, we outline the journey of small businesses using the ReTreasure app. This flow focuses on the buyer's perspective, guiding small businesses through the process of discovering and acquiring residual fabrics to meet their specific needs.

Wireframe Sketches
In the initial stages of the ReTreasure project, I embarked on the design journey with a collection of ideas and concepts swirling in my mind. As a solo designer, I sought clarity and direction for the user interface of the app, which would seamlessly connect small businesses with residual fabrics.
To bring structure to my thoughts and align my design goals, I chose to start by hand-sketching the wireframes. This tactile and hands-on approach not only allowed me to visualize my ideas but also served as an illuminating process that guided my design choices in a unique way. The following hand-sketched wireframes are the result of this creative journey, representing the foundation of the ReTreasure user interface.
Wireframe & Preliminary Jury
Market Competition Regulations: Concerns were raised during interviews about the fashion industry's strict regulations regarding fabric sales. Manufacturers and retailers often have rules that prevent them from selling the same fabric (especially patterned) to multiple brands for the same season's collection.
Enhancing User Experience and Trust: To improve the user experience and establish trust within our platform, we require businesses to register using their official business identities.
Mandatory Legal Information: To enforce this requirement, we collect essential legal information from registered businesses, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Home Page Recommendations: The home page offers buyers new fabric alternatives based on their past favorites and purchases, providing a tailored shopping experience.
"Find My Treasure" Feature: The primary feature on the home page is the "Find My Treasure" button, initiating a fabric search or "treasure hunt" for buyers.
Prioritizing User Choice: When the treasure hunt begins, the system prompts the buyer to select their priority: either the quantity or the fabric type.
Treasure-Based System: ReTreasure is centered around helping businesses find their dream fabrics. Fabrics are referred to as "treasures" to highlight their unique and valuable nature.
Specific Filtering: A distinguishing factor from competitors is the detailed filtering process. When creating collections, businesses must choose between the fabric type and quantity due to the surplus-based approach, which lacks production continuity.
Filtering by Fabric Type: When the user prioritizes the fabric type, the system initiates a three-step filtering process.
Step 1: Main Fabric Type: The first step involves selecting the general fabric type of interest.
Step 2: Mix Selection: Next, the user is prompted to choose the mix, which can be customized to enhance filtering precision.
Step 3: Color Selection: The final step involves specifying the desired color.
Optional Quantity Filtering: After these selections, the system offers the option to filter by quantity, providing flexibility to the user.
User-Centric Approach: The system doesn't enforce a particular way of working but is designed to assist and structure the buyer's decision-making and research process effectively.
Filtering by Fabric Quantity: If the user prioritizes the fabric quantity, a similar three-step filtering process is applied.
Step 1: Height Selection: In the first step, the user specifies the desired fabric height.
Step 2: Weight Selection: Next, the user is prompted to choose the preferred fabric weight.
Step 3: Color Selection: Similar to the fabric type filtering, the final step involves specifying the desired color.
Flexible User-Centric Approach: Just like the fabric type-based selection, this method offers a flexible approach to cater to the user's specific preferences, organizing and optimizing the fabric search process.
Unique Filtering Option - Single or Multiple Sellers: A distinct feature of ReTreasure is the choice between filtering by a single seller or multiple sellers. This sets ReTreasure apart from competitors in addressing the challenges of working with surplus and discontinuous fabric production.
Challenges with Surplus Fabrics: Surplus fabrics often pose challenges for businesses, as they lack production continuity, making it difficult to create cohesive collections.
Leveraging Manufacturers' Small Quantities: Many manufacturers have small quantities of the same fabric in their stock, and this feature empowers buyers to achieve their quantity goals effectively.
Catering to Business Needs: By providing this unique filter, ReTreasure ensures that businesses can access the quantities they require, even in the absence of continuous fabric production.
This page aims to provide a tailored experience for businesses as they navigate the process of collecting fabrics for their collections.
Collection Creation for Businesses: This page is designed for users who wish to collect a large quantity of fabric from different sellers to create a complete collection.
User-Specific Adjustments: Users have the option to make specific adjustments according to their needs.
Tracking Collection Progress: On this page, users can track the collected portion of their goal, both in meters and as a percentage.
Discover Alternative Sellers: The system also provides users with information about alternative sellers who have the same fabric available in their stock.
Customized Collection Building: This feature allows businesses to customize their collection according to their preferences and production requirements.
As I embarked on the ReTreasure project, my primary focus was on the buyer's side of the platform, as it presented the most intricate and pivotal aspects of the app's design. The core filtering challenges and complexities resided in the buyer's journey, and I set out to construct a wireframe that would effectively address these issues.
The aim of this preliminary jury presentation was to reveal the wireframe page by page, elucidate the distinctive features distinguishing ReTreasure from its competitors, such as Recovo, and showcase how the proposed design aimed to overcome the challenges previously faced by UN initiatives.
Fabric Alternatives Listing: This page displays fabric alternatives based on the user's filter preferences, helping them find the perfect fabric for their needs.
Favorites Page: The Favorites page allows users to view their past favorite fabrics and explore additional alternatives, enhancing their browsing experience.
Fabric Detail Page: On the Fabric Detail page, users can access comprehensive information about a specific fabric, including details about the seller, high-quality photos, and the option to add the fabric to their basket by the meter.
Shopping Basket Page: The Shopping Basket page displays the fabrics the user has selected for purchase, enabling them to review their choices before proceeding to checkout.
Delivery Address Information: In this section, users provide the necessary delivery address details for their selected fabrics to be shipped to the desired location.
Payment Page: The Payment page is where users finalize their purchases, make payments, and complete the transaction process securely and conveniently.
